Hi, guys. I just want to have some full disclosure here. This is the first film I’ve described for this podcast which also had description done by my past employer, AudioVisionCanada (now AMI). Their described version was produced before I joined the company, and though I did listen to it once while I was there, I have no memory of what was actually done, and never retained any copy of it. What I have described for this podcast was done entirely by me without any reference to AVC’s script or production. Some descriptions are likely to be similar, but any similarities are purely unintentional. Btw, you may wonder why I would describe it if they already did. Good question. The version AVC produced was sold retail to libraries and anyone who could figure out how to order it, but to the best of my knowledge it is no longer for sale, so access to it for any consumer is next to impossible. There are many more like it, which is a terrible situation for so many people who would love to hear these films and the great description work done for them. They should not be shut away from people, so I decided this one time – and likely other times in the future – to start from scratch and describe them myself to make them accessible again in more ways than one. Thanks!
